Hello everyone.

The client, aka Customer, aka Stakeholder, is the one who pays money for a successful project.

However, customers are not always easy. At the same time, project managers need to be able to competently interact with any customers and at the same time implement projects as efficiently as possible.

LABA has prepared an article, “How to Communicate with the Hell Client.”

Where I commented from my side on each of the situations and gave recommendations on how it would be better to deal with such Customers.

The beginning of the article is here:

Intuition is a good advisor at the beginning of communication with a client, but it is better to rely on tangible points.

The customer is immediately problematic if he:

cannot clearly articulate what he wants

takes the position that he is always right

does not want to answer clarifying questions about the project.

We have recreated situations when everything has turned upside down and it is necessary to put out fires. In these correspondences, project managers do everything right. Learn from them. Commenting on the correspondence, our lecturer Yevhen Kamashev is a certified project director, teacher of the Project Management course of the Edinburgh Business School’s MBA program.
