I came across such a parable on the Internet and I wanted to duplicate it on my website.
Pay attention to the advice at the end of the parable, I think they should be adopted!
I hope you will like it 🙂
A wise man was looking for an able and talented disciple who would possess sufficient skills and abilities to pass on his knowledge to him when he died. He decided to gather all the students. And so many students gathered. The sage said to them:
I have a problem and I want to know if any of you can solve it. You see, in the wall behind me is the largest, heaviest and most massive door in the city. Which of you will be able to open them without help?
The door Some of the students simply lowered their heads: the problem seemed insoluble. Others studied the door more thoroughly, discussed the possibility of using a lever and the features of the material, and came to the conclusion that it was impossible to solve this task. Everyone said that it was impossible to do what the sage asked.
Only one student approached the door and subjected it to a thorough examination. He tapped their surface, trying to assess their thickness and material density, noted what the doors were made of and how reliably the hinges were lubricated. He examined them carefully, using his eyes and hands. He knocked on them, pressed, pressed on certain areas.
Everyone assumed the door was closed or jammed. And in fact, they were only slightly covered. The student took a deep breath, concentrated, and gently pushed the door open. The door opened easily and without the slightest resistance. They were designed and constructed so flawlessly that the slightest push was enough to open them.
The sage found a successor. He turned to the rest of the disciples and spoke these words:
Success in life and work depends on several key factors, and today you could see them in action.
First, allow your senses to fully explore and understand the reality around you.
Secondly, do not make hasty and therefore incorrect conclusions.
Third, be brave enough to make a decision.
Fourthly, having accepted it, act confidently and without doubt.
Fifth, focus and put all your strength and energy into this action.
And finally, don’t be afraid to make a mistake.
Good luck to you in all your endeavors and wisdom in making decisions!!!
