Some sell goods/services, others sell their time and skills. But what is the buyer actually paying for? And when is he ready to pay more?

Today’s parable is about that.

Once a student who owned a large factory came to the Teacher:

Teacher, tell me how to make the buyer pay me more for my goods?
What does he pay for? – asked the Teacher, and the student began to tell about the goods that he produced at his factory. The teacher listened to him and asked again:
What does he pay for? – The student thought, thanked the Teacher and left.
After three months, this student again came to the Master and said to him:

Thank you, Teacher! After your words, I started talking to buyers and found out that many of the qualities of my Product Quality, which I considered very important, are not at all of interest to them. Then I changed the product, keeping only what the customers needed, and even improving it. The goods cost me much less, and now I sell them for almost twice as much as before. Thank you, Teacher!
